As a student, I identified an opportunity to refresh the visual identity of The Apologia, a campus journal. After pitching a style revamp to the executive board, I was entrusted with designing the next issue from cover to cover. Despite it being my first experience with InDesign and working under tight deadlines, I delivered a brand new layout, complete with original graphics. I’d approach things differently today, but the project was a valuable practice in learning quickly, and maintaining a sense of play and creative vision while balancing external feedback.
